About

VulpiWords is a one person company launched in 2020 by a languages and words maniac.

Who am I?

Anaïs FOURNY
Emrys

Curious about anything and eager to learn, I love to discover unfamiliar fields and go out of my comfort zone.

In 2019, dissatisfied by my previous profession, I leave everything behind and go to Japan, wishing to immerse myself in a culture that always fascinated me.
The best decision in my life.

Since then, I make a living of my passions for languages, words, stories and imagination. I especially enjoy translation, as each new work is an opportunity to start anew.

Now living in France (but with an eye on Japan, still), my motto is to give my readers the best possible experience.

Hobbies

Stories

Novels, mangas, movies, games... Be it written, spoken, drawn or played, I love stories of any kind. I am particularly fond of well-written characters, solid world-building and subtle emotions.

Languages

Because they create bonds between us and allow us to express any shade of our intentions, I am fascinated by languages. Studying a language is diving into the culture and way of thinking of its speakers. I especially love to analyze and understand all of the subtleties of words.

Creative Writing

My imagination never sleeps and when it overflows, I put it into words. I don't especially try to publish my prose but I write a lot, on any subject that triggers my inspiration at the moment.

Mangas

Obvious for a stories AND Japan enthusiast, eh? Manga is a childhood friend of mine, and its variety makes it suitable for any evolution, any taste and any mood.

Video Games

Because they make me dream, laugh, cry or shiver, because they challenge my patience, reflexes or reflexion, video games were, are and will be a part of me. Having a soft spot for narratives, RPG are of course in my personal top.
